New June 1 deadline to confirm enrollment

The University of Dayton has extended the deadline for first-year undergraduate students to confirm their enrollment to June 1.

As families and the University navigate the first major changes to FAFSA in 40 years, the extension allows students additional time to carefully consider the investment they will make in their education. The University remains dedicated to providing financial information as quickly and accurately as possible. UD also maintains its commitment to complete price transparency, presenting families the full four-year cost upfront, with no hidden fees.

"As a Catholic, Marianist university, supporting families is at the core of our mission," said Jason Reinoehl, vice president for strategic enrollment management. “Our emphasis on educating the whole student prioritizes their academic progress alongside their spiritual enrichment, leadership experiences and overall wellness.”

Students are encouraged to confirm enrollment as soon as they are ready so they have more time to complete next steps, including housing selection, new student orientation registration, and first-year course preferences.

The deadline for students admitted to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program remains May 15.

Admitted students and families can contact the Office of Recruitment and Admission at admission@udayton.edu if they have further questions about the June 1 deadline. UD will continue sharing financial aid updates in students’ admission accounts.
